I am also a certified Reiki Master Teacher/Practitioner and received my training under Rev. Irene Glasse of The Grace of Reiki and the Usui System of Natural Healing.
And, in addition to being an acupuncturist and reiki master, I am a Master Angel Intuitive with certifications in Angel Communication, Advanced Angel Communication, Soul Ascension Therapy, and Angelic Mediumship. A Little About Me
Soul Garden Acupuncture is a small operation of one (Me), which I love because it gives me the freedom to be fully with each patient and involved in every process from booking, to treatment, and follow up care.
I’m a Frederick City native. I attended Frederick High School, and received my Bachelors of Arts in Liberal Studies (Philosophy, Psychology, and Religion) from Salisbury University in 2002.
After a 9 year career as a buyer for a busy interior design firm my life took a very different direction in 2011. It was then that my experience with the medicine of Acupuncture and Reiki began. I attended MUIH and received my Masters of Science in Acupuncture after three and a half years of full time, year round study and clinicals. It was an intense program filled with science, philosophy, and many hands-on life lessons in healing.
I am in awe of this medicine and all of the transformations I have seen in myself and in my patients. I believe we are here to love and be loved. I believe we are here to empower ourselves and others. All of the services that I provide have that directive: To heal, to empower, to create harmony and balance.
My passion is to work with my patients natural healing abilities to create a life where they can thrive in body, mind and spirit. My practice is called Soul Garden Acupuncture because it encapsulates my view of healing. A gardener pulls obstructing weeds, tends the soil, plants new seeds, and watches each seed bloom into the plant it is meant to be. As a practitioner, this is the role I play in the healing relationship with my patients. Together, we move obstructions from the physical, mental and emotional bodies. I help my patients plant new ideas to help them grow. I use acupuncture, gua sha, cupping, tui na, reiki, Chinese nutritional advice, lifestyle coaching, and spiritual coaching to facilitate the optimal health and well being of each patient. It is my highest goal to provide a safe space for healing; a place for people of all ages and all walks of life to come as they are and be accepted no matter what. My holistic approach to healing gets to the root of your symptoms in order to heal more deeply, completely, and naturally.
